The Making of Harry Potter - Studio Tour (England)

Sunday, 3rd April 2022

I have wanted to go to the Harry Potter Studios for some time but at £50 per person, I have been postponing it. I was failing to justify spending so much money in one admission ticket. However, friends had an extra ticket so I decided to finally go.

Is it worth the money?

Well, the studio is huge and it took us 3h to visit so you do spend plenty of time there. It has so many scenarios and the photo opportunities are so many. It's fun when you go with friends.

I still think it is expensive and would definitely class it as a luxury but yes, it is worth it.

Here's some of the highlights.

Costumes
Yule Ball

Beauxbatons

Hermione Harry and Ron

Gryffindor's bedroom

Gryffindor's Common Room

Dumbledore's Office

Snake's Potion Classroom

Horace Slughorn's Potion Classroom

Professor Umbridge's Office

Platform 9¾

Hogwarts Express

Privet Drive

Plenty of models of all the movie's creatures

Gringott's Bank

Diagon Alley

Ollivanders Wand Shop

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes

Hogwarts' Castle

There are a few mechanical treats, one of them being a broom that levitates, providing a photographic moment.

Plenty of wands to shop!

Best part of the tour for me was this (watch till the end!):

There is a passport that you can stamp with embossed stamps along the way. It's free.
